It was an exciting day at Jackson Court as we welcomed Senator Penny Wong alongside local candidate Gabriel For Menzies. They took time to meet local business owners, including the team here at Sportsafe Australia, demonstrating their ongoing support for small businesses and the local community.
The visit also highlighted the fantastic work of the Asian Business Association of Whitehorse (ABAW), whose recent cultural festival at Doncaster Reserve was a tremendous success, bringing together thousands from across the region. Senator Wong acknowledged ABAW’s significant contribution and announced new funding commitments designed to enhance community-driven events and cultural celebrations.
With this exciting support secured, we’re all looking forward to even more vibrant and inclusive community celebrations right here in Jackson Court, Doncaster East, set to unfold in 2026.
