Father’s Day Giveaway — Terms & Conditions

Promoter: Jackson Court Traders Association (JCTA)

1. The Competition

The Jackson Court Traders Association Father’s Day Giveaway (“Competition”) is a promotional giveaway celebrating Father’s Day and supporting the local businesses within the Jackson Court community.

There will be three (3) winners, with each winner receiving a different Father’s Day prize pack containing products and/or vouchers generously donated by participating Jackson Court traders.

The individual prize packs and their contents will be announced and revealed in the lead-up to Father’s Day.

2. Competition Period

The Competition opens when the official Father’s Day Giveaway post is published on the Jackson Court Traders Association Instagram account.

Entries close at 11:59pm (midnight) on Friday, 4 September 2026.

Any entries received after the closing time will not be eligible.

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

Employees, contractors, committee members and representatives of Jackson Court Traders Association and participating prize-donating businesses may be excluded from entering.

JCTA reserves the right to verify an entrant’s identity, age and eligibility.

4. How to Enter

To be eligible to enter, participants must complete all three (3) mandatory entry requirements outlined in the official Competition post:

1. Like the official Father’s Day Giveaway post.

2. Follow the Jackson Court Traders Association Instagram account (@jacksoncourt).

3. Tag a dad or father figure in the comments of the official Competition post.

Participants must complete all three requirements to receive a valid entry.

Entries that do not satisfy all three requirements may be deemed invalid.

Unless otherwise stated by JCTA, each eligible person may enter once.

5. Winner Selection

There will be three (3) winners selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Competition period.

The winners will be selected using a random name generator to ensure a random selection from the pool of eligible entrants.

Each eligible entry must have an equal chance of being selected.

The three winners will be selected on or before Sunday, 6 September 2026 (Father’s Day).

The winners will be announced on the Jackson Court Traders Association Instagram account on Sunday, 6 September 2026.

6. Contacting Winners

Each winner will be contacted via direct message through the Instagram account associated with their winning entry.

Winners must respond within 7 days of being contacted.

If a winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts, does not respond within the required timeframe, or is found to be ineligible, JCTA reserves the right to conduct a further random draw to select a replacement winner.

7. Prizes

There are three (3) different Father’s Day prize packs available to be won.

The contents of each prize pack will be announced in the lead-up to Father’s Day.

Prize packs may contain products, vouchers and/or other items donated by participating Jackson Court traders.

Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, unless otherwise stated.

Where a particular prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside JCTA’s reasonable control, JCTA may substitute the prize in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

8. Prize Collection

All winners must collect their prize in person from Jackson Court, Doncaster East, Victoria.

JCTA will contact each winner to arrange a mutually agreed date and time for collection.

Prizes will not be posted or delivered.

Prizes will be made available to winners within 28 days of the draw, unless otherwise agreed with the winner.

A winner may be required to provide reasonable identification or proof of their winning Instagram account when collecting their prize.

9. Valid Entries and Disqualification

JCTA reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who:

• does not meet the eligibility requirements;

• has not completed all three mandatory entry requirements;

• provides false or misleading information;

• uses fraudulent, automated or multiple accounts for the purpose of obtaining additional entries;

• tampers with the Competition or entry process; or

• otherwise breaches these Terms & Conditions.

JCTA’s decision regarding the eligibility of an entry will be final, subject to applicable Australian consumer laws.

10. Changes to the Competition

JCTA reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Competition if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

Any changes will be communicated through the Jackson Court Traders Association social media channels where reasonably practicable.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected from entrants will only be used for purposes connected with administering the Competition, contacting winners and arranging prize collection, unless otherwise permitted or agreed by the entrant.

JCTA will not use entrants’ information for unrelated marketing purposes without the appropriate consent.

12. Instagram and Facebook Disclaimer

This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Facebook.

By entering the Competition, entrants release Instagram and Facebook from any responsibility or liability relating to the Competition.

All questions, comments and concerns regarding the Competition should be directed to Jackson Court Traders Association and not to Instagram or Facebook.

13. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that entrants may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.

The Competition will be conducted in accordance with all applicable Australian laws and regulations.
